Green energy for all
We provide our members with 100% renewable electricity from solar, wind and hydro. And our gas is 100% carbon neutral too. We offset the emissions from the gas we supply by supporting carbon reduction projects around the world. Plus, we're one of the biggest buyers of green gas for homes in the UK so a chunk of our gas mix comes from renewable sources, too.
Generators big and small
We source our electricity from generators of all different sizes, from small solar farms to big off-shore wind sites.
Sometimes we partner with generators to directly purchase their electricity. And we get the rest of the electricity we supply from the wholesale market. For every unit our members use, we buy a renewable generation certificate to match.
Green as standard
We don't charge extra for going green. You can choose any tariff at Bulb and sleep easy knowing that your home or business is powered by 100% renewable electricity.

Doing the right thing
As a certified B-Corp, we're working to demonstrate how business can be a force for good. Since Bulb started we've donated more than ￡6 million to good causes. Including to Trees for Cities to create Edible Playgrounds in UK schools. And to Bulb Foundation which makes grants to organisations tackling the climate crisis head on.
